From her leadership at Suncast to her global impact at events like COP, Constanza Levicán is breaking barriers, driving women's leadership and putting technological innovation at the service of climate change. In a world where renewable energies are increasingly gaining ground as a key element in future development, Constanza Levicán is leading a true revolution in energy, technology and, last but not least, gender equality.

Founder of Suncast, the company that merges artificial intelligence with renewable energy, Constanza has managed to stand out in an industry traditionally led by men, but she has also transformed the domestic energy sector, with more than 5,214 MW of installed capacity in energy services, of which 2,352 MW are sourced from solar energy and 2,862 MW, from wind energy which, in the aggregate, represents 50% of the total wind energy capacity installed in Chile, according to the latest report of the National Electric Coordinator.

"Us women not only can but must come together to be part of the driving force of energy change. This is our opportunity to lead transformation towards a more sustainable future", says Constanza, who in 2021 was granted the prestigious Avonni Award in the Women Entrepreneur category and as the CEO who has made Suncast be recognized by Forbes Magazine for three consecutive years 2022, 2023 and 2024, and ranked within the TOP100 of the most important startups in Chile.

Her story of entrepreneurship began in 2017, while studying at the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, her passion for technology and sustainability led her to found Suncast, after attending a conference by Al Gore on Chile's potential for solar photovoltaic generation. Thus inspired, Constanza set out to create a solution that today is transforming the energy sector, making Suncast pioneer the use of artificial intelligence for renewable energy and achieving exceptional compliance with the new API system for sending forecasts of photovoltaic and wind power plants.

Suncast is fully aligned with current regulations and the modernization of the National Electric Coordinator's IT systems.

In addition to her role as CEO, Constanza Levicán is a member of the Advisory Committee for the update of the Energy Policy 2050, professor of the Master in Energy at the Catholic University (UC), president of Climatech and has represented Chile in high-impact international events, such as COP26, the IRENA Global Young Leaders Forum, the APEC Summit of Women Founders of Technology Startups. and the Dubai 2020 Expo.

"Climate change is the greatest challenge of our era, and us women have the ability to lead the fight against it. Technology is our most powerful ally, and we must take the reins of the energy future," concludes Constanza.

Today, Constanza Levicán continues to be a global reference in renewable energy, artificial intelligence, and sustainability, inspiring future generations of women and men to be the drivers of change in the technologies that will define tomorrow.

"Suncast is just one example of what we can achieve when we believe in ourselves. Us women have the power to change the course of industries and build a more fair and sustainable future. If you ever dreamed of making a difference, now is the time. The future is ours, and together we can lead it."
