During November, the company presented their solutions in corporate venues such as Demo Day BCI Energía and the CEO Meeting.
Suncast, the leading Chilean company in renewable energy forecasting, continues to make its presence at important networking events in the electricity sector. During November, the company participated in the Demo Day BCI and CEO Meeting events, organized by the Climatech Chile association, that brought together leading stakeholders of the country’s energy industry, bank executives, business leaders, managers and decision-makers.
These instances were ideal for Suncast to present their innovative solar and wind energy forecasting solutions, as well as their soiling forecasting solution, which optimizes solar panel cleanings and maximizes the operation and maintenance activities of photovoltaic power plants.
Constanza Levicán, Suncast’s CEO and founder, who is also a chair member of Climatech Chile’s Board, said: “It is important to give exposure to Chilean technologies. It is important for Suncast to be connected to the industry and explain how we work and succeeded in closing deals and retaining big energy companies in Chile.”
The Demo Day BCI event was focused on the banking area of Energy, it offered a space for corporate clients of the BCI bank seeking financing for new energy projects, which resulted in a very productive instance for companies such as Suncast, who develop technological solutions to combat the climate crisis and optimize productivity in the industry.
According to Florencia Mesa, Climatech Chile’s executive director, the purpose of the Demo Day was to bring together collaborators and BCI executives who work with companies to learn about the technological solutions of the Climatech Chile association and offer them to the bank’s clients “this instance allows companies to connect with bank executives, who can explain their business model since it is an opportunity for new clients with a possibility of showing their solutions that are here”.
In the same order of ideas, Carolina Herrera, BCI’s Sustainability coach, commented that “we are organizing different talks with the bank’s SME area, we already had one on hydric efficiency and how this one on energy efficiency. The idea is to have a broad view of everything that sustainability implies and how to work with the solutions provided by Climatech Chile as a part of the ecosystem we offer to our clients”.
On the other hand, the CEO Meeting event organized by Club de Innovación, allowed Suncast to present its services to approximately 100 executives of different companies. Club de Innovación is made up of important companies, both national and international, such as Entel, Aguas Andinas, Transbank, Inacap, Universidad Mayor, Deloitte, Colbún, Aes Gener. Enaex, Fleetup and Codelco, among others which seek technological solutions to improve their productivity.
As a result of these experiences, Constanza Levicán was interviewed today on the Club de Innovación’s TrendInnova program, which is hosted by the journalist Camila Silva Galdames. In the interview, Constanza spoke about the consolidation of Suncast’s forecasting systems in Chile and the expectations for 2025, which involves an ambitious plan of internationalization and expansion of its services to markets such as Spain, Colombia and Mexico.
These spaces, which reinforce Suncast’s commitment to innovation and sustainability in the energy industry, were great opportunities to establish key connections, especially in the corporate sector and open doors to foster strategic relations and explore future collaborations.
